Owl's Nest Resort sells weddings as a full weekend in the White Mountains, with the ceremony, reception and lodging all in one place. Its Lakehouse sits on pilings over Lake Harold, with timber-framed halls, a stone fireplace and a wraparound deck right at the water. The original renderings showed the building, but not the wedding: a dusky, empty-feeling exterior, a reception hall with guests standing around in business wear, and a loft full of chairs with nobody getting married. We kept the architecture exactly as designed and changed what each frame sells. Golden hour now spills across the deck, with dinner set for a full party under string lights and the fireplace going. The reception hall fills with black-tie guests who look like they're having a good time. The empty loft becomes the ceremony itself, with a bride and groom at a floral arbor under the chandeliers. Same building, same views, but now couples can picture their own day there. Second Look also produced a short marketing film to bring the venue to life, a short hook built to stay with couples long after they've scrolled past other venues.
